Brown Brothers at Milawa in north-east Victoria is the latest wine producer in Australia to offer a behind-the-scenes winemaking experience as part of its Unique Winery Experiences of Australia offering.
Visitors are invited into the Brown family's Kindergarten Winery to learn about the winery's processes, small-batch winemaking techniques and hands-on practices.
They can sample wines from blending tanks and gaining an understanding of how wines are finished.
A wander through the barrel shed, where red wines are aging, is next with a chance to sample direct from the barriques.
The Brown Brothers family cellar contains wines spanning several decades. The family has a 130-yeae winemaking history.
Back at the cellar door participants enjoy a guided tasting experience, including premium and back vintage wines.
The experience is limited to six people at a time.
It will be held each Monday at 2:30pm until the end of the year.
