Sofitel pushes the spa boundaries

The Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is one of Australia's best hotels - and this week it got even better.

The Sofitel has opened Sydney’s newest luxury wellness destination: the two-storey wellness spa: Sofitel SPA Darling Harbour.

The facility is described as "delivering a holistic and totally indulgent revitalisation experience targeting the body, mind and soul."

Seven treatment rooms include two suites designed by award-winning design firm PikeWithers, one of which features a bespoke bath overlooking Darling Harbour,

The spa also boasts an infrared sauna, contemplation deck and relaxation lounge.

Sofitel SPA Darling Harbour’s highlight offering is its signature half-day Wellness Journey - which varies according to the seasons.

The new facility's treatments feature luxury French beauty brand Biologique Recherche.

And when it comes to massages, Sofitel SPA Darling Harbour has a package of options.

Judging from my experience with hotel spas, it pays to book before you even check in, as many facilities are oversubscribed.
