Accor unveils new range of Queensland hotel deals

Accor, the largest hotel operator in Queensland, has launched a new campaign, in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), to encourage travellers to ‘Experience Queensland Summer Days’.

The campaign is part of TEQ’s major new ‘Great Queensland Getaway’ campaign, which incentivises Queenslanders to explore their home state.

Accor Pacific CEO Simon McGrath said: “Accor is delighted to work in partnership with TEQ on this campaign. We hope our selection of affordable and flexible accommodation deals will inspire travellers to explore the world-leading holiday experiences that are available in Queensland.”

Tourism and Events Queensland Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington said it was wonderful to have accommodation partner Accor onboard for the campaign.

Coddington said: “Accor properties right around Queensland are offering compelling deals and that is such an important part of this campaign.

"We’re really hoping to see visitors truly get out and about and exploring parts of Queensland they haven’t been before, joining tours, visiting attractions, having memorable experiences and at the end of the day, enjoying the incredible accommodation on offer through the campaign.”

The Great Queensland Getaway is on sale from today until Sunday, October 31, with Accor deals available to Queenslanders to ‘Experience Queensland Summer Days’ as part of that campaign throughout the booking period.

Following the Great Queensland Getaway, Accor’s ‘Experience Queensland Summer Days’ campaign will continue to run until January 31, 2022, extending to Tasmanian, South Australian and Northern Territory residents and broadening as additional markets are able to holiday in the Sunshine State.

The ‘Experience Queensland Summer Days campaign involves a paid media push across digital advertising, social media and video content, showcasing key holiday hotspots around Queensland, as well as a promotion of Accor’s flexible cancellation policy and ALL - Accor Live Limitless loyalty program.
