That's not a cruise: This is a cruise

How about a luxury cruise that lasts four months and visits 47 destinations in 31 countries?

MSC Cruises has just unveiled details of a 2026 world cruise on MSC Magnifica that includes embarkation from four European ports - Civitavecchia for Rome, Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona.

The cruise will offer seven overnight stays in ports and full-day stays in all other ports of call.

The world cruise will cover 36,000 nautical miles and will cross the Equator twice.

After visiting Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, the ship will cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean and Central America.

From there, MSC Magnifica makes her way to the US West Coast with more than a month in the Pacific with overnight stops in San Francisco, Honolulu, Auckland and Sydney.

World cruise guests will then spend over three weeks exploring Asia with stops in cities like Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The MSC Magnifica will then make calls at Dubai and Oman, before returning home via Greece.

Bokings are open now with benefits when booking including 15 shore excursions. A dine and drink package is included for all world cruise passengers, as well as a 30% discount on laundry (which seems a pretty weird offer, but there you go).

MSC Magnifica has five gourmet restaurants and 12 bars and lounges and the MSC Aurea Spa offers traditional Balinese massages and modern beauty treatments.

There is an indoor pool and a retractable roof, and guests can enjoy tennis, mini golf, mini-bowling, billiards, a gym, a dedicated jogging track and entertainment in the 1,200-seat theatre.
